Here I have repainted the original head and the helmet. I have painted it the usual method for me, acrylics. The helmet was painted with Tamiya flat white and then 3/4 coats of Future Floor polish.
Looks good, Joe. The sculpting on these large scale figures are amazing. A little TLC and it's a work of art. With him in training camp gear this conversion will really stand out.
I just picked up a Lou Gehrig figure and have it displayed prominantly in my new cabinet. There's a Rollie Fingers in a pitching pose with his trademark moustache, I'd like to get too.
Thanks. I too think there is a lot of potential with these figures. I would love to do the Rollie Fingers myself, I was a BIG A's fan back in the day . I still have all my baseball cards from the 70's when they were the team to beat.
